Senior Account Executive – Spirits

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee national spirits on-premise/off-premise consumer and trade engagement programs
  • Manage a remote field staff of full-time Brand Ambassadors representing a well-known spirits brand
  • Provide leadership for field staff and other departments working on the account; mentor account and field staff, strive to fine tune, develop strengths and address potential areas of concern
  • Assist in concept development, management and implementation of all creative assets, elements, materials and activities in market
  • Coordinate and oversee staff and programs, ensuring smooth, flawless execution
  • Lead project meetings, create/manage timelines, and develop status reports to ensure projects stay on course
  • Develop strategies to increase brand-building activity
  • Proactively approach and anticipate internal and external concerns and maintain level of flexibility to quickly respond to changing client demands
  • Source and manage multiple vendor, supplier relationships required for events
  • Create, manage and track budgets; monitor all expenditures to stay within budget parameters; communicate necessary changes to supervisor/senior management
  • Create and track metrics for measuring success of programs
  • Provide clients with robust, timely post-event reports
  • Communicate daily with multiple clients; respond to and manage client requests and maintain open and frequent communication
  • Work with HR to ensure policies, practices, initiatives, etc. are developed, and communicated effectively and adhered


Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years professional, relevant industry experience, preferably working with spirits, beer or wine on-premise, off-premise and Brand Ambassador programs
  • Remote/field staff management experience required
  • Spirits experience required
  • Event/promotion marketing experience preferred
  • Strong ability to develop and create client presentations
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • Prior agency experience with Event Marketing, Sponsorships and Promotions is required
  • Keen attention to detail and extremely organized
  • Ability to work nontraditional evening and weekend hours in a nightlife setting, as needed

Must be available for light travel
