Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Support production and account team in all aspects of event planning and execution
  • Day to day monitoring of logistics – Managing shipments through an online portal
  • Develop and maintain regular and effective agency, client and vendor communications, assuring that event is executed in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner
  • Coordinate and advance logistics, pre-production and oversight, lighting/sound/backline, etc.
  • Create, manage and track all production inventory
  • Learn to plan, communicate and manage program logistics including run of shows and production timelines
  • Coordinate technical and production elements of events
  • Research, build, maintain and utilize database of regional and national production vendors
  • Research new technology – lighting, audio, visual, electrical and how to implement into experiential events
  • Research and compile venues under a production capabilities lens
  • Scouting talent using Pollstar and other tools to compile national touring acts and price ranges
  • Scouting local talent upon request
  • WH organization / asset log – will help with determining functionality of existing assets
  • Create competitive reports on production heavy events complete with specific insights
  • Facilitation of repair requests with vendors
  • Physical activity such as pushing cases, getting dirty, standing for long hours, lifting 50lbs or more.
  • Nontraditional work hours – late nights, weekends

 

 

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:

 

  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably in live music venues and/or live music festivals
  • Relationship Building/Teamwork: Maintain high level of client service, facilitate relationships with vendors; contribute to business building opportunities; promote teamwork and enthusiasm
  • Organization Skills: Move projects forward to meet objectives and deadlines; anticipate challenges; manage time effectively; adhere to deadlines; ensures projects come in under budget
  • Client Service: Inspires/gains confidence of client team; develops tactical solutions; translates clients’ input and responds effectively and efficiently to client needs
  • Detail-oriented
  • PC, Excel, Microsoft proficient
  • Comfortable in agency office environment
  • Must be a college graduate
