Account Executive

Client Management and Interaction

  • Participates in face-to- face client meetings, engages with clients independently on small tactical initiatives but operates in more of a support capacity to the day-to-day account lead
  • Takes responsibility for the consistent monitoring of active projects to the client
  • Main client contact is PM/MO

 

Business Development/Sales

  • Supports new business team in the development of materials and logistical planning when necessary; provides market research and analysis on specific areas of interest (for example, competitive market)

 

Strategic Communication Skills and Tools

  • Owns Project Exposed to Creative Brief and Brand Map process

 

Knowledge/Therapeutic Expertise

  • Firm grasp on agency tactics with the understanding about how they are used strategically to support the products objective and goals
  • Solid understanding of product data, strategies and marketplace

 

Financial Responsibility

  • Track budget regularly and work with supervisors to meet quarterly for Participate in development of SOW and staffing plans.

 

Communication

  • Competency in written communication (proper client correspondence, SOW, tactical slides, competitive analysis) and confidence in presenting internally and to clients
  • Contributes to internal and external meetings with relevant insights, feedback, and probing questions and can influence team members
  • Has gained client’s confidence

 

Teamwork

  • Takes a positive, collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to partner with all departments, with an increasing focus on Creative, Traffic, and Finance
  • Becomes a project steward

 

Management

  • Assumes ownership role of individual projects and work flow
  • Accepts and prioritizes delegated assignments from Senior account staff, and also proactively identifies internal and external needs that could put timeline in jeopardy
  • Mentors TSMs and ACs

 

Leadership

  • Go to person in the absence of the supervisor
  • Well informed on the current situation of the brand and the projects currently in progress
  • Responsible for drafting communications to the team on client decisions and updates
