Our client, a global provider of information technology products and services, is seeking a Compuware Strobe Expert

Location: New York, NY

Position Type: (Contract 6 months to 1 year)

Need Compuware Strobe expert to handle performance tuning, performance planning and capacity planning/storage for capacity shortages in MVS mainframe. Company is trying to avoid million dollar server upgrade and want to extend the life of the current processor. Strobe tunes the application code. Environment is Cobol, IAM, CICS. Prefer 5-10 yrs experience with Strobe to ck production environment, look for tuning opportunities and introduction into the system development life cycle [SDLC]. Need to be on call 1 week per month. Prefer experience with any internals which would include MVS or DB2 DBA.
