Funko Far East is currently seeking a Direct ship Specialist to join the Direct Ship Team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end direct fulfilment (FOB) process from factories in the Far East to our international customers designated locations through key stakeholder collaboration, management, and coordination.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Responsible for customer account servicing, independently providing quality customer service to Direct Import customers.
  • Coordinate with production planning teams in headquarters (HQ) to solve production issues and avoid shipment delays.
  • Responsible for addressing customer enquiries and handling customer complaints.
  • Collaborate closely & independently with sales team in HQ and factories to solve shipment issues.
  • Pull in shipments to maximize monthly shipping volume and quarterly revenue.
  • Closely monitor factories to ensure timely booking and shipping documentation is submitted according to specific timeframe.
  • Liaise with forwarders to get vessel space and prioritize our shipments and escalate to sales team in HQ if necessary.
  • Cross-check shipping documents to ensure they are aligned with actual shipments. Update in forwarder portal or 3PL system.
  • Support ad-hoc projects assigned from Manager and Assistant Manager.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Relevant experience in customer account servicing or merchandising with the ability to handle full set import / export shipping documents gained from sizable toy / trading companies.
  • Solid prior experience with major US retailors, EU and APAC markets is preferred, such as Walmart, Amazon, Target, Tesco and Toys “R” Us etc.
  • Proficient in MS Office specifically with sound knowledge in Excel, Word and PowerPoint (pivot tables & VLOOKUP preferable).
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Independent thinking and detail-oriented mind.
  • A good team player with positive mindset & good communication skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Immediately available is highly preferred.
  • University Graduate with CET-6 is preferable.
