Field Engineer Internships
for AIM 2020

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• We are now hiring 16 x Field Engineer Interns for 2020 intake to our Gas and Steam segments; we are taking both Mechanical and Controls based interns.
• Ideal candidates will be University graduates with either a mechanical or controls engineering background.
• Previous experience in power station / petrochemical environment is preferred but not essential.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Will put high emphasis on EHS and Quality.
• Willing to travel for work assignments.
• Must be willing to show flexibility in relation to working hours, to suit site requirements.
• Working rota will normally be 12 days working, 2 days off, based on a 60 hour work week (may vary across countries dependent on local work-time regulations).

WHAT WE'RE OFFERING

• A 3 month paid field contract, beginning in March, which upon successful completion selected interns will be offered a paid full time contract as a Trainee Field Engineer, beginning in June.
• A full training / development plan will accompany the full time role.  Training placements begin in August at the GE Houston Training Centre and will last approximately 15 weeks.  All training is given in English so fluency is a must.
