Banfield's Virtual Leadership Roundtable- Stress Resilience with your Team
Resiliency is the ability to adapt and bounce back when things don’t go as planned. And with stress being a part of our everyday lives, we want to provide you with tools to help you become more resilient in times of stress and uncertainty. It’s not about being faced with stress, it’s more how you react to it. Stress affects your ability to work — which can have a consequence on your overall career wellbeing— but, more importantly, stress can affect your health.
The good news is that even if you are not naturally a ‘stress resilient’ person you can learn how to be.

Meet the Speakers:
Paul Dutcher, DVM
Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition, West Division
I have had an incredible journey in my career with the practice over the last 12.5 years with Banfield. Throughout my time with Banfield, I have had a deep passion with helping new doctors explore career opportunities. This passion drove me to seek a position at our headquarters as a campus manager of campus outreach and student programs. After spending a year and half in that role, I was promoted to a senior manager position of talent acquisition. In my new role I support DVM hiring efforts in the West Division of the United States. I lead a team of two TA managers and 11 DVM recruiters. Our team is committed to helping veterinarians find rewarding careers with compassionate teams dedicated to living out our mission of creating a better world for pets!
Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition, East Division
I have been with Banfield Pet Hospital for a little over 4 years and am currently a Sr. Manager in Talent Acquisition, leading doctor recruitment for the nation's largest general veterinary practice. The majority of my career has been spent in Human Resources, supporting various roles as a Generalist, Recruiter and Leader. I’m excited to share perspective from the human health industry to the challenges in recruiting in the pet care industry, and leading a team with strategies and insights to support mission critical roles, in a high demand market.
It’s hard to imagine what our world would be like without stress…but, think about what you could accomplish if you had the strength to not let it dominate your life.
