As this year comes to a close, we wanted to take some time to highlight some of the memorable moments we experienced at Neo. The company has grown tremendously this year, and it would not be what it is without all of the dedicated, and talented employees. If we named every top moment at Neo this year the list would be endless, so we stuck with just a few. This month we’ve shared a few of NeoGenomics’ memorable moments on social media. Let’s take a deeper dive into those moments that brought excitement to NeoGenomics this year.
This moment has been in the works for a long time. With a vision for an expanded HQ where all of the Fort Myers team could be at one site, the path to NeoGenomics’ Way began! We began moving over some of the team this fall, and we are looking forward to finishing up the move in the new year. Our new HQ features two buildings, lab and admin. The brand-new state-of-the-art lab is now accredited and working through certifications. We cannot wait to welcome all of our lab employees into the new space.
NeoGenomics continues to grow year after year, and we are constantly amazed by the phenomenal talent that walks through the doors every day. This year, NeoGenomics acquired Inivata, a powerhouse and leader in liquid biopsy. The Inivata team brings a wealth of knowledge in their field, and they have been instrumental to our growth this year. We are looking forward to continued years of partnership and innovation.
The health care industry is constantly changing, and it’s important that Neo keeps up with the trends. As a company built on innovation and quality, we work to provide the best care possible for the patients we serve. This year, NeoGenomics acquired Trapelo Health, an Information Technology company focused on precision oncology. Providing quality results to our patients is at the core of Neo, and the Trapelo Health team is helping us further this value. This partnership will help further innovate the health care industry.
Neo’s passion for saving lives by improving patient care would not be possible without the passionate and talented lab employees all around the world. This year, the company went through multiple accreditation processes throughout the world at various lab locations. Our lab employees have worked extremely hard preparing for this process, and they were able to receive a passing score. Not only has our new Fort Myers lab received accreditation, two of our international sites – Singapore, Rolle, and Switzerland – received their ISO15189 certification. We are excited to see what the new year brings for our company.
Our marketing team was hard at work this year creating a brand refresh for NeoGenomics that highlighted the growth of the company. The brand refresh was positioned to create a website and branding elements for Neo that exuded our core values and purpose. The design of the NeoGenomics website highlights our innovative culture and collaborative nature throughout our departments. Make sure to visit the new NeoGenomics website to see for yourself!
We had the pleasure of welcoming in Mark Mallon to the NeoGenomics team as CEO. Throughout this past year, he has been a prime example of what it means to lead with our core values – teamwork, innovation, quality, integrity, and accountability. Mallon’s long and distinguished career in health care made him the perfect match for leading NeoGenomics through its common purpose of saving lives by improving patient care.
